How to travel to UNNC
From Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport
A shuttle bus will take you directly from the airport to Hangzhou Train Station, for which you should take the high-speed train service to Ningbo. Trains between Hangzhou and Ningbo are frequent on an hourly basis.
From Shanghai Hongqiao Airport
Follow the signs directly from Hongqiao Airport to Hongqiao Train Station by foot (the airport and train station are opposite to each other). At the train, alight the high-speed train service to Ningbo Train Station, via Hangzhou.
From Shanghai Pudong Airport
Take a taxi or use Metro service from the airport to Hongqiao Train Station (estimated travel time is one hour, costing around 250RMB for a taxi). At the train station, alight the high-speed train service to Ningbo. To get to Hongqiao Train Station via the Metro, take Line 2 and transfer at Guanglan Road Station.
By Coach
A taxi from Ningbo Central Coach Station costs around 30RMB for an 11km journey. Buses 115, 132, and 368 run from the coach station and stop within proximity of the campus. For directions from the bus stop to campus, please use AMap for guidance.
By Train
The easiest way to get to the University from Ningbo Train Station is by taxi. The fare is estimated around 30RMB for an 11km journey. Alternatively, buses 159, 161, and 369 run from the train station and stop within the proximity of the campus.
From Ningbo Lishe Airport
A taxi from the airport costs around 30RMB for a 12km journey.

Bring everything to the card office and ask them to make a student transport card or gong jiao ka 公交卡. They'll take 10 yuan for the card deposit, and then you can give them however much you want to reload. With the card, all bus rides are 60 cents, and you can get discounts for the metro as well.
The card office location is noted on the Hub form. It takes 7 minutes by taxi to get there. Don't hesitate to ask the Hub counter for more information about the bus cards.
Go to the Hub and ask to get a form for bus transportation. Take some help from the Hub counter to fill in the form if you can't write in Chinese. You need the address of the university: you can just write University of Nottingham Block XX, in Chinese. Make sure you write it the right way because if not, you'll be rejected at the card office.

How to purchase a bus card
If you're staying for more than a semester and if you like to explore the city, it might help to get a bus card. It's an easy way to make your trips even cheaper and not embarrass yourself asking for coins to everybody in the bus stop.

- Your passport or Mainland China ID
- Your student card
How to get train tickets
Access and register an account on the "China Railway 12306" website, using your passport number. This website is ideal for purchasing train tickets.

How to go to Wanda Plaza?
Bus 161 / 118 / 115 from 宁波诺丁汉公寓楼 Ningbo Nuodinghan gongyulou (UNNC residential area) to 万达广场北 Wanda guangchang bei (Wanda plaza north entrance).
How to get to InCity?
Bus 132 or 367 from 宁波诺丁汉公寓楼 Ningbo Nuodinghan gongyulou (UNNC residential area) to 永泰公园 Yongtai gongyuan (Yong Tai park).
How to go to InTime?
Bus 669 from 宁波诺丁汉公寓楼 Ningbo Nuodinghan gongyulou (UNNC residential area) to 环球城东 Huanqiucheng dong (The east side of InTime).
How to get to the train station?
Bus 161 from 宁波诺丁汉公寓楼 Ningbo Nuodinghan gongyulou (UNNC residential area) to 宁波火车站 Ningbo huochezhan (Ningbo train station).
