Making Connections

The Vis-à-Vis Organisation, established in 2004, aims at “Breaking Barriers & Making Connections”. I-Week as the most significant event for new students on UNNC campus, is organised by Vis-à-Vis every semester in cooperation with the University. This event is dedicating to help new students adapt to life in UNNC, and lasts for one week with a great variety of activities. For example, Show Night and V-Ball provide extraordinary excitement for freshmen each autumn semester. Campus and city tours offer new students a chance to get familiar with UNNC and to explore the city of Ningbo. Other schedules such as workshops, health check, Visa, registration, card night, and dumpling night enrich every new start at UNNC. Furthermore, the Vis-à-Vis Organisation also holds various activities during the semester including language learning, culture exchange, travelling, home stay, and festival celebrations organised by seven programmes of Vis-à-Vis, with support from five functional departments.
